Pages a month (you set it) x 12 x the public list price for pulling out a form’s key details (£37.74 for 1,000 pages, the top of the public range; invoices are priced lower, at £7.54) and for sorting a document by type (£2.26 for 1,000 pages). Reading the text is part of the details price, so it is not counted twice. We assume 9 in 10 suppliers’ devices can do this work; the rest stays on servers. The details are filled in for the supplier to confirm, as if they had typed them. If most pages were invoices, or at the lowest public prices: £105,000 a year. A company that runs its own reader pays less than list price for this work.
Identity checks, screening, checking that a certificate is genuine with its issuer, the document vault and the shared supplier database stay on servers and are not counted. Reminders and nightly reports also stay on servers, not priced here, because their size is not public.
